A year ago, Gaia and her sister were surrendered to a shelter when their owner suddenly passed away. It understandably traumatized and terrified both of them. The sisters started coming out of their shells at the shelter, until they were suddenly separated and put into cages apart from each other. They both got adopted out to different homes. Gaia has not only been ripped away from her bonded sister (from when they were kittens), and surrendered TWICE, but she has been diagnosed with diabetes.
