Olivia came to us as an owner surrender. Upon arrival, her face was quite literally falling apart. Turns out she had been self-mutilating to the extreme due to ear mites! She would claw her ears, face, and neck because it itched SO bad. Poor girl! Her wounds became infected which only made things more uncomfortable. Olivia developed a condition called “feline eosinophilic granuloma complex”, however, with the right combination of food, medication, and thorough care we believe she can live a truly fulfilling life! She needs an adopter who is dedicated to her well-being, and able to keep a close eye on her. Frequent nail trims are required. During breakouts, she requires a cone to keep herself from harming herself further. Lately, she has been needing to wear one much less! Olivia has come so far in the time we have had her. She LOVES attention and snuggles, come in and meet her!
